This year’s Japan Festival, has been the most crowded thus far. They invited singer, Aya Uchida from Kyoto, Japan. When I looked her up on the internet, most describe her as a J-pop singer, but really her songs are more country. But it does sound weird describing as J-country singer, no? Overall Japan Festival was fun, except for the man who decided to bring his pet snake (Not Cool).
In the evening went to Miller Outdoor Theater to see Thoroughly Modern Millie. I’ve seen this musical for the first time 10 years ago. Tonight’s performance was done by HITS Theatre. I think they did a fantastic job! And won’t be hesitating to see other productions by them.
