I feel like I am,
after all the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Don’t feel down because of what he may have said to you. Seriously, it is not your fault. I am in the same situation too but we got our own lives to live. I had a pretty tough Monday this week coming back from my parents but you know what, I feel like I shouldn’t let myself down any longer. Deep down inside, they know we care for them but in order to get what they want, they guilt trip us and put the blame onto others. They avoid responsibility to no end and expects someone to pick up their slack. Life is not all fun and games and they need to learn that and face the truth.
Before anything, we are obligated to be true to ourselves, to live how we want to live, and be earnest and responsible for our own lives. THAT IS OUR OBLIGATION. Nobody else have the rights to govern our lives, nor do we have the rights to interfere in theirs. Live your dream and strive for all that you can be!
Should I go purchase some ice cream and we can eat together? 🙂 Some people are complaining I’ve been loosing too much weight lately.

Families can be tricky. Especially Asian ones, I should know.
